Trev’s birthday isn’t till Friday, but since tonight could very well be his last game as a Canuck, I felt an early tribute was fitting.

This once was the same fresh faced kid so quickly to lead.
’94 Stanley Cup run; the Canucks were so close!
It wasn’t to be - only of a great season we’d boast.
A few seasons state-side, two years in Montreal
We never once doubted you’d return to us all.
What will we do now? It won’t be the same
“Mr. Canuck” is how we’ve endeared you by name.
It’s been quite the career, many would say.
Sadly we knew soon would come this day
A decision to make, it seems so unreal.
